Ultrasonic Cleaner Solution System:
The whole system of ultrasonic cleaning comprises of ultrasonic tank, ultrasonic cleaner solution, heating element, emersion basket and electronic controls. By the use of these electronic waves are created which cleans the object. A basket containing an object is placed into the solution. The bubbles produced by the force remove dirt particles and clean the object. Ultrasonic cleaning frequency operates in three different ways: 20 to 40 KHz, 40 to 70 KHz and 70 to 200 KHz. Frequency range depends on the type of the object. 20 to 40 KHz is suitable for cleaning heavy objects and for fast cleaning. 40 KHz is for cleaning into detail and cleaning long tubes or small objects. It is slower than the first one. For fine cleaning and cleaning of hard disk drive components 70 KHZ to 200 KHz is required.
Ultrasonic Cleaner Solution Test:
If you have cleaned your object and you still have doubt whether it is cleaned fully or not foil test and glass slide test are used for checking. In foil test cut three equal pieces of aluminum foil to about 4” and 8”. Connect all the three with a rod in such a way that one is placed in the middle and the other two on the ends. Put the foil rod in the ultrasonic cleaner solution and turn it on immediately all three will be wrinkled to equal sizes showing that the solution is working well. In glass slide test a frosted glass is used. First wet the glass with water then mark an X on it by a pencil and suspend it into the solution. When it is turned on the X sign will start to fade in 10 seconds.
Ultrasonic technology is used by doctors, patients and all the staff also as they used it for cleaning surgery apparatus and many more. Used surgical and dental instruments are contaminated by blood and saliva so they should be cleaned immediately. In a nut shell ultrasonic cleaners have made life a lot easier.
